Patricia R. Bowen, 55, passed away on December 17, 2024.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 23, 2024, at the New Ralph Wells Community Complex, White Shield, ND.
Patricia R. Bowen was born April 21, 1969, to Beatrice Jean (Fox) Red Hawk & Warren F. Bowen, in Garrison, North Dakota.
She attended elementary school in New Town & White Shield, North Dakota. She then attended high school in Bismarck, North Dakota and graduated in 1987.
Patricia worked for Job Corp in Chadron, Nebraska as a secretary.
She worked then worked at Community Action as a secretary in Chadron, Nebraska. Patricia then worked for North Western out of Bismarck, North Dakota as a flagger as a summer job. Patricia was also employed at Prairie Knights Casino as a cashier for two years. She was then a telemarketer in Bismarck, North Dakota for some time.
Patricia loved to crochet and sew in her free time. She also loved to cook for others. She showed her love through acts of service and her kind words. Patricia always knew what to say in any situation. She was everyone’s comfort person. Patricia could make you feel better with just a hug and her smile. She had a huge heart and so much compassion for others. She never had an unkind word to say about anyone.
Patricia became ill on April 31, 2015, and never came back to full health.
Patricia is preceded in death by her Father: Warren F. Bowen; her Step-Father: John T. Red Hawk, who raised her as his own daughter; Maternal Grandparents; Robert & Naomi (Johnson) Fox; Sister: Leslie J. (Red Hawk) Belgarde; Aunts: Elaine (Fox) Incognito, June A. (Fox) Eagle, Mary (Addams) Sargent, Gale Red Hawk; Uncles: Clifford Joe Fox, Jesse Red Hawk, Wardelle Red Hawk, Doug, Dale, Jim & Marvin Richards.
Patricia is survived by her Mother: Beatrice J. (Fox) Red Hawk; Daughter: Melinda (Harring) Nichols; Brother: Duane Bowen & his wife Crystal; Nephews: Dakota & Orion Bowen, Sonny Belgarde; Nieces: Natasha & Kaya Bowen, Windynight & Mistyskies Foutch; Grandchildren: Jesse Baatz, Easton & Weston Foutch, Alezah & Nathan Belgarde, Sky Warren; Uncles: Duane Fox, Roy Morsette, Bill Incognito, Thomas Eagle, Buddy Red Hawk, Raymond Blacksmith; Aunts: Leota Red Hawk, Krissy Red Hawk, Darlene Red Hawk, Bonnie Fox; God-Mothers: Bobbette (Fox) LaCroix, Nancy Fox; Her many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts & uncles in the Fox-Morsettes & Red Hawk – Richards Families.
