Jessica Rose Pratt, 39, Minot, died on Friday January 7 in her home.
Jessica was born January 22, 1982 in Minot ND to Georgette Berg-Pratt and Lealon Thomas Pratt, where she joined her 2-year-old brother, Jeremy, at home.
She was raised in Minot, graduating from Minot High School with the Class of 2000.
As a child, Jessica spent many happy times with her grandparents in Bottineau and on her aunt and uncle’s farm in Glenburn. Several summers in a row, the Pratt family would load up the car and head to the outdoor theatre in Williston. They would make a whole day and night of it and made memories for a lifetime. When she was 15, she got to go on a trip of a lifetime to New Orleans, Louisiana where her host family treated her to all things Mardi Gras!
Jessica was an ambitious child; she held a job and bought her first car while she was in high school. After high school she briefly lived and worked in Fargo. She worked at many telemarketing call centers in Minot. Jessica had a definite flair for home décor and gardening. And she could put together a beautiful turkey dinner.
Her kids, Cash Lyle and Henna Mai Danielson, and her niece Nevaeh Pratt were the light of her life. She loved watching them play football, basketball, and volleyball, and was so proud to see them grow into the smart beautiful kids they are today. As a mom, she really encouraged their academics and artistic endeavors.
We were all so proud when she graduated from Minot State University in 2012 while raising two little kids at home.

Her father, Lealon Pratt, her brother, Jeremy Pratt, grandfather, Lyle Berg; and her namesake, great grandmother Rose Walhaug Knutson.
Survived by and those who were honored to be part of Jessica’s life are: Son, Cash Danielson and daughter, Henna Danielson, and their father, Curtis Danielson, niece, Nevaeh Pratt; mother, Georgette Berg Pratt; grandmother, Caroline Knutson Berg; Uncle and Godfather, Lowell (Vonda) Berg, daughter, Jessica (Kelly Peach) Whetter (Regan James); uncle and aunt, Mickey and Sonja Mickelson, cousin Anton (Kendra) Mickelson (Ethan, Derek, Wayne, Verla, Hans) and cousin Tyler (Mary) Mickelson (Porter, Burke); aunt, Patricia (Chris) Riker, son, Mitch (Ashley Coburn) Riker (Karlee Chenevey, Ellie Rose Riker); daughter, Nicole M. Riker; son, John Riker. Her aunt Heidi (Joe Persinger) Berg, daughter Trista (Teddy) Wisely (Emersyn, Benjamin, Addilyn). Special aunt, Verla Hodgson; Godmother, Mary Detlaff. Long time friends Kerensa Baker and Kelly Short.
A memorial service will be held for Jessica on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, Glenburn. Please bring your memories to share. Lunch will be served afterwards so please feel free to stay and visit. (Masks are encouraged) Interment will take place at Lynch Immanuel
Cemetery in the spring.
