Diann Busch, 80, Minot, died Friday, November 12, 2021, in a Minot nursing home.

Diann Henrietta Busch was born January 26, 1941, to Edward and Olga (Klimple) Busch in Minot, ND. She was raised and educated in Sawyer, ND and following her education, she assisted her parents on the family farmstead. She moved to Minot in the 1970’s but continued to assist her parents on the farm.

Diann was employed as a waitress and dishwasher at Clara’s Kitchen (The Nook) in Minot. She also was a childcare provider for various families in the Minot area.

Diann was a caring and loving person. She was a caregiver at heart and always made sure her parents, whom she was very close to, were well taken care of.   To her family, Diann will always be remembered as a gentle spirit with a kind soul.

Diann was faithful servant to her Lord and Savior and believed her strength was a product of that.

Diann was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Minot and was involved in the Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, you could often find her watching TV or cross stitching.  

Diann’s loving family includes her siblings: Leo Busch, Ontario, OR, Connie Swensrud, Minot, ND, Darlene (Kenneth) Hauf, St. Petersburg, FL and Sandy Billings, Concord, NC; brother-in-law Donald Hauf, Minot along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Diann was preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Busch, sister JoAnn Hauf and sister-in-law Karen Busch.

Interment:  St. Peter’s Cemetery, Sawyer, ND
Visitation: Tuesday, November 16, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
Memorials are preferred to St. Peter’s Cemetery, Sawyer, ND.
