Amy Louise Clough, 44, Des Lacs, ND died Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Des Lacs.
Amy was born March 30, 1977, in Brunswick, Maine to Dennis Clough and Carol (Denton) Smith. She spent the years of her youth in Maine. Amy fell in love with horses as a young girl and was a saddle seat rider during her youth.
Amy’s college journey took her south to Jacksonville, Florida. She moved across the country to the state of Washington after school and lived in Montana until moving to Des Lacs, ND in 2014.
Amy was blessed with the birth of a son Jorden in 2013. She completed her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Minot State University on December 17, 2018. She worked as a registered nurse.
Amy enjoyed doing crafts with her son and will be deeply missed by those who shared in her life.
Amy’s loving family includes her son Jorden and his father Jesse Burbank, Des Lacs; mother Carol Smith, Burlington, ND and father Dennis Clough of Harrison, Maine; brother Joshua A Clough, St. Louis, MO along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents David Denton, Sheila Joan Maddison and Clair & June Lovell.
