Rusdy Brock, 54, of Bismarck, went home to be with the Lord after his battle with cancer.
A Memorial Service will be held at 9:00 AM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at New Song Church, Bismarck, ND. The burial will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery at 11:00 AM.
Rusdy was born to Russell and Effie (Clark) Brock on September 16, 1968, in Page, North Dakota.
In 1989 he enlisted in the United States Navy, and served in Operation Desert Storm.
He married Sally Johnson on December 19, 2003. In 2022 he announced in Celebrate Recovery group that he would not have been able to make his achievements without her. They had two children together, Preston and Daryian. He was involved with the technical booth at New Song Church and active in the Celebrate Recovery. He worked at Action Movers, Zimmerman’s Furniture, and Lowe’s. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Rusdy is survived by his wife, Sally Brock; son, Preston Brock (Michaela Devine); daughter, Daryian Brock; grandson, Bowie (Logan Yoss); sister, Teresa Reutzel; his cousin Darryl Heiser who was like a brother; as well as many nieces, nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister.
