Cory Dean Bonogofsky, 47, of Cumming, GA passed away in his sleep on December 14, 2022.
Cory was born in Bismarck, ND on July 4, 1975, to Jerry & Andi (Andriette Bohl) Bonogofsky. The family moved to Underwood, ND when Cory was 3 years old where he received his education and was a 1993 Underwood High School honor graduate. He went on to NDSCS in Wahpeton and eventually gained a Master of Business Administration degree from Western Govenor’s University and had a very successful career as an IT professional. He was the founder of his own successful business, Bonogofsky Consulting, LLC.
Cory’s family meant everything to him. He is survived by his wife, Julia, sons, Jack & Alex, daughter, Isabella (Cumming, GA); parents, Jerry & Andi Bonogofsky, Baldwin, ND; brother, Kevin (Shonah) Milnor, ND; Grandmother Frances Bohl, Bismarck, ND; mother & father-in-law, Mary & John Degenhardt, sisters-in-law, Kristina Brusco (Michael) and Alexis Mancinelli (Michael), all from NJ. Also, many aunts, uncles, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
Cory loved cooking, traveling, his dogs, Mini and Peanut, but most of all spending time with his family. His happiest moments were attending Jack & Alex’s baseball & basketball practices and games, Isabella’s gymnastics, dance classes, softball games, and many school events, the kids always came first. Their many family vacations were well planned and organized by Cory and will be cherished forever.
A memorial service will be held at the Bismarck Funeral Home, 3723 Lockport St., Bismarck, ND on January 28, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. with visitation starting one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial checks made payable to Jerry & Andi Bonogofsky whereas, memorials will be deposited in Cory & Julia’s children individual college savings account.
