Rosemary Brown, 92, Minot, died Saturday, December 18, 2021, in a Minot hospital.
Rosemary was born October 25, 1929, in Erie, Pennsylvania to Lawrence and Gladys (Hunt) Placido. She called Harrisburg, Pennsylvania home during her childhood. Rosemary graduated from William Penn High School in 1947.
Rosemary was once united in marriage to Thomas E. McCarthy. This union was blessed with three daughters, Shereen, Susan and Denise. They made their home in Fairfax, VA.
Rosemary spent her forty-five working years as a professional in accounting and bookkeeping services for a number of companies.
Rosemary married Richard E. Brown on her birthday, October 25, 1974. They lived in Fairfax, VA and Minot, spending forty-seven beautiful years together watching their family grow.
“Our mom was the best mom ever!” Her strength and bravery through this life, no matter the problems, is her legacy. She taught us to stay strong and positive in this life and to always put others before yourself. Rosemary will be missed by all who were blessed to share in her life, but most by those who knew her as a wife, mother, and grandmother.
Rosemary is survived by her husband Richard Brown, Minot; daughters Susan (Kenneth) Simmons, Stafford, VA, and Denise (Douglas) Monson, Minot; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
Rosemary was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Shereen Davis and three siblings.
