Darren John Gross, 53, passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 4, 2021. Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 9 at Church of the Ascension, 1825 S Third St., Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E Divide Ave., Bismarck. A rosary/vigil will begin at 7 p.m.
Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck.
Darren was born on April 4, 1968 to John and Medy (Weigel) Gross, Napoleon. He attended elementary school in Napoleon and graduated from St. Mary’s High School and the University of Mary, Bismarck.
He was an avid sports fan – especially following the Minnesota Twins, the Minnesota Vikings and the NDSU Bison-Fargo.
Privileged to share in his life are his mother, Medy Gross, Bismarck; sister and brother-in-law, Sandra (Victor) Krehlik, Riverdale; niece, Lexi Krehlik, Riverdale; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Gross, Bismarck; nephew, Brandon Krehlik, Riverdale; grandparents, Baltzer B. and Katherine (Wangler) Weigel, Napoleon and Raphael and Mary (Deibert) Gross, Bismarck.
