Bradley Ellis, 61, Max, died on Friday, July 23, 2021, at his home. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 207 Prairie St. in Portal, ND.
Bradley K. Ellis was born in Stanley, ND on June 19, 1960, to Delmar and Bonnie Ellis. He and his family moved to Portal, ND in 1970. Brad attended school in Portal and later graduated from Burke Central High School in Lignite, ND in 1978. After graduation, Brad adventured in Custom Combining and Seismography until joining the US Army Reserves, serving from 1986 to 1990.
Brad met Stacy Barley in 1984 and followed her to El Paso, TX where they lived and married in February of 1988. They moved back to Portal, ND in 1990 with their 3 children. In 1991, they moved to Minot, ND where he worked at TerHorst MFG from 1991 to 2009. Brad and Stacy moved to Max, ND in 2004. He worked for Max Famer’s Elvator from 2009 to 2020 when he was forced to retire due to health problems.
Brad is survived by his wife, Stacy, Max, ND; children, Shawna (John) Hampton, Bismarck, Shannon Marsh, Max, ND, Mark (Nikki) Barley-Ellis, Minot, ND, Colleen (Joe) Fitzpatrick-Estevold, Burlington, ND; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; sisters, Sharen (Duane) Estvold, New Town, ND, Jackie Peterson, Bowbells, ND, Tracy Ellis (Cooly), Kelly Morgal, Amber Ellis, both of Minot, ND; brothers, Doug (Laurel) Ellis, Robbie Ellis, Alan Ellis, Darren (Machelle) Ellis, all of Oklahoma, Jamie (Carmen) Ellis, Missouri; sister-in-law, Kim Fitzpatrick, Burlington, ND; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Bonnie Ellis, brothers, Billy and Randy Ellis, sister, Jodi Ellis Dagenstein.
