Helen (Jenson) Jesz, 68, Minot, died Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in an Aneta nursing home.
Helen was born December 3, 1954, in Kenmare, ND to Harvey and Ruth (Beckedahl) Jenson. She was raised and educated in Sherwood, ND. In 1973, she moved with family to Granville, ND and resided there until 1979, when she moved to Minot.
Helen was blessed with two sons, Michael and Jason.
Helen worked with children at Good Shepherd Daycare Center for many years until taking a job to manage the Empire Hotel for the next decade. She finished her working years at the Grand Hotel as a supervising laundry clerk.
Helen attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Minot. She enjoyed watching movies, going for a walk and spending time with her grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her sons Michael of Clearwater FL and Jason (Maggie Erven) of Minot; grandson Trenton Erven of Minot; siblings Manley Jenson, Grafton, James Jenson, Minot and Janine Jenson, Mandan.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents, her 3 cats Buffy, Fluffy, and Baby.
Gathering of Family and Friends: Tuesday November 21, 2023 from 6-8pm at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot
Interment: Sherwood Cemetery, Sherwood, ND at a later date.
Memorials are preferred.
