Rita A. Senger, 78, of Mandan, passed away October 23, 2023, at Edgewood, Mandan.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 27, at the Bismarck Funeral Home. The burial will follow at the Mandan Union Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 6:00 – 7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 followed by a Vigil Service.
Rita Senger was born on March 24, 1945, to George and Lavina (Schell) Kueneman in Langdon, ND. The family moved to Devils Lake, ND where she was raised and graduated from high school.
On May 21, 1966, she married the love of her life, Dannie D. Senger in Devils Lake, ND. Together they had two children, Danette and Dean.
Rita was a loving woman who cherished her time spent with her family and friends. It was always with great enthusiasm she enjoyed playing Bingo and watching NDSU Bison Football and the Green Bay Packers. In her spare time, she also loved to get pedicures and go out to eat at Dakota Farms.
Rita will be deeply missed by daughter: Danette (David) Heine, Mandan; son: Dean (Tricia) Senger, Bullhead City, AZ; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren, brother, Robert (Clarice) Kueneman, Devils Lake, ND
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Dannie Senger; her parents; granddaughter, Brittany Heine; brothers, Frank, Harold, George, Richard, and James Kueneman; and sisters, Catherine Weber and Shirley Ray.
