June Reiswig, resident of Walla Walla, Washington, formerly of Bismarck, North Dakota, passed away at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Washington on September 20, 2023, at the age of 88.

June was born on June 3, 1935, in Denhoff, North Dakota to William and Lydia Bodewin. She married the love of her life, Allen Reiswig on March 8, 1953, at the First Baptist Church in Goodrich, North Dakota.  They had three children, Gail, Valerie and Alan David. Allen and June pursued their life-long career as farmers in Sheridan County, North Dakota.  Though June loved being a homemaker, mother, gardener and crafter, she also drove truck for harvest and milked cows for many years.

June is survived by her daughters, Gail Stolz of Milton-Freewater, OR; Valerie Ross of Parker, CO; her brother, David Bodewin of Peyton, CO; her grandchildren, Shawntae Hall, Shane Stolz, Tawnielle Tatum, Alanna Rohweller, Shilo Stolz, and Ameila Reiswig; her great grandchildren, Colson Hall, Adalyn Hall, Brandt Tatum, Brielle Tatum, Sully Rohweller, and Theodore Rohweller; nieces, nephews and so many friends and neighbors who knew and loved her throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen Reiswig; her son, Alan D. Reiswig; her father, William Bodewin; and her mother Lydia Hornbacher Bodewin.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, at the Bismarck Funeral Home, 3723 Lockport Street, Bismarck, ND.  Graveside Service will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery.
