Robecca “Becky” Peterson, 51, rural Minot, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 11, 2023 while surrounded by her loving family at Trinity Hospital in Minot.

Becky was born on October 1, 1971 in Minot, the daughter of Leo and Janice (Sayler) Krueger.  She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1990.  During her younger years, she was employed at Schatz Truck Center, Midwest Vision and Duling Optical.

Becky was united in marriage to David Peterson on October 23, 1993 at St. Paul’s Lutheran in Minot. In addition to raising their two boys, she had a children’s daycare in their home until June of 2005. Most recently she had been employed with Conlins Furniture as the Office manager until ill health recently caused her to retire.

Becky was a longtime member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.  She was an avid fan of the NoDak Speedway and loved to watch professional racing, especially Dale Earnhardt and Dale Jr. She loved weekend trips to her mother and father in law’s cabin at Mouse River Park near Sherwood.  Becky and David enjoyed taking road trips together, especially to her favorite restaurant in Bismarck, Texas Roadhouse.

Becky’s loving family includes, her husband of nearly 30 years, David;  sons, Jerrod (Aaron Marxen) and Justin Peterson; mother, Janice Krueger, Minot; sister, Bobbie (Lance) Klabo, Minot; grandmother, Joyce Sayler of Garrison; nieces, Emma & Ellie Klabo & Jessica (Jayden) Hansen; nephew, Jordan Peterson; great niece, Kinsley Hansen; several aunts & uncles; mother in law and father in law, Diane & Lyle Peterson, Minot; brother in law, Daniel (Nancy) Peterson, rural Minot.

Becky was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandfather, John Sayler and paternal grandparents, Awald and Laura Krueger.

Funeral Service: Monday, September 18, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Minot.  To view a livestream of the service access https://www.facebook.com/stpaulslutheranchurchminot/
Interment: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Minot.
Visitation: Sunday, September 17th from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
