Michael Wiest, 45, of Bismarck, passed away unexpectedly on July 26, 2023.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Bismarck Funeral Home. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Michael was born on June 16, 1978, to Richard and Karen Wiest. Michael was the big brother to Sarah and Jessica. Born and raised in Bismarck ND.
Michael had a passion for cars and motorcycles. He loved to fix them up. He also enjoyed tinkering with small engines. Michael was part of a dart team for many years.
Michael is the proud father of two amazing children, Jules (19) and Jax (14). He loved spending time with family every chance he got.
Michael met his ” brothers” Gerad and Steve in high school. The love of his life, Mandi, came back into his life after almost thirty years. They were to be married in September and Michael was so excited. Friends and family loved how their love story came about.
Michael would help anyone with anything he possibly could. He loved to be goofy and make jokes, his laugh and smile were contagious.
Michael is survived by the love of his life, Mandi Brendel (Fiancée), His children Jules and Jax Wiest, his parents Karen and Richard Wiest, His sisters Sarah Wiest and Jessica (Joel) Wiest-George, His “brothers” Gerad (Heather) Williams, Steve (Tracy) Jaton, Niece Bailey, Nephews Issiah and Justin, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins. And many many amazing friends.
Michael is preceded in death by his grandparents Maggie and Joe Jangula, Uncle William Jangula, Aunt Donna Hagel, and his ” brother” Dean Chadwick.
