Arnold Peters, 74, Minot and formerly of West Virginia died on Thursday, July 20, 2023 in a Minot hospital.
Arnold David Peters was born on February 27, 1949 in Saunders, West Virginia to Arnold and Anna (Sutherland) Peters. He was raised and educated in that area and graduated from Man WV High School. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and served his country as a security policeman. During his military service he was stationed at Duluth MN, King Salmon AK, Belgium, Offutt AFB NE and Minot Air Force Base. He received his honorable discharge as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1993.
Arnold married Nell Valentine on December 26, 1971 at Saunders, WV. They made their home at the various air force bases where Arnold was stationed. They moved to Minot in 1986 and had since made their home in Minot where, following his retirement from the USAF, he was employed by Dakota Marketing and Research, MLT Vacations, Walmart and the Rochester Armored Car Service where he was still employed at the time of his death.
Arnold especially enjoyed computers, technology and watching television, especially sports and the Memorable Entertainment Network (ME TV).
Arnold is survived by his wife: Nell; sons: Todd (Sheri) of Duluth MN and Duane of Sheboygan WI and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A private family service will take place at a future date.
