Kenneth (Ken) Knoll, 83, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Oct. 4, 2022 in Simi Valley, CA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 7, 2023, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Bismarck, ND. The burial will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bismarck, ND.
Ken was born on Jan. 18, 1939 in Bismarck and was raised in Menoken, N.D. He farmed, and spent 2 years in the Peace Corps; upon his return, he completed his education at UND. In 1969 he moved to California, first in the banking industry and later owning his own businesses. After his retirement, his hobby was buying old tractors and stationery motors, restoring them to running condition.
In Dec. 1969 Ken married Judi Speten in Riverside, CA., and to this union, four children were born. Dr, Michael (Maria) Knoll, daughters Daniella, Natalie, and Nicole. Leah (Dave Colbert) Knoll, daughter, Lauryn Egg. Londa (Jeff) Casilli, children Gunner, Hurley, Jagger, and Knox. Laila (Gene) Worke, Ryder, Kingston, Rueger, and Bexon.
He is survived by one sister, Advina Kenyon, and one sister-in-law Charlene Knoll. He is also survived by Judi’s family Al (Elaine) Speten, Marg & Lyle Aune, Colleen & Jim Anderson, Bev & Darrell Ingwerson, Pam & Bob Gillette plus many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mike & Mary Knoll, three brothers Ed, Len, and Nick, one sister, Minnie Krein, and his in-law Rudy & Lucille Speten.
Ken’s wish was that everyone “PRAY FOR HIM”
