Terry Lewis, 68, of Bismarck, passed away April 29, 2023, unexpectedly at his home.
A visitation will be held Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Bismarck Funeral Home with a prayer service at 6:30 PM.
Terry was born on June 13, 1954, to Milo and Phyllis (Kalweit) Lewis in Bismarck, ND.
Terry worked at Hedahls, as well as working as a printer at The Bismarck Tribune, Flash Printing, United Tribes, and Kmart, retiring in 2020
He lived his entire life in Bismarck. In his younger years you would find him riding his motorcycle around town and playing in his band, Hickory Wisp. He also enjoyed camping, boating, spending time collecting antiques and cheering on the Minnesota Vikings. In his spare time, he enjoyed relaxing on his front porch. His cats were also important to him, having several cats over the years, most recently his beloved kitty, Lilly.
Terry will be lovingly remembered as a jokester and always having a story to share.
He will be missed by his sons, James Lewis (Joshua Taylor), Winter Haven, FL and Kristofer Doll, Richardton, ND; mother and stepfather, Phyllis and Phil Morrissey, Bismarck; stepmother, Geri Lewis, Bismarck; brother, Mike (Stacey) Lewis Jr. Bismarck; and his cousin, Brenda (Pat) Schmidt, Flower Mound, TX and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Milo “Mike” Lewis; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
