Timothy Quinn Braun, 50, Grafton, formerly of Minot, died Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at the Grafton Life Skills and Transition Center under hospice care.

Tim was born March 8, 1973 in Minot, the son of William and Barbara (Larson) Braun.  He was raised and educated in Minot, and grew up with three older brothers and a younger sister.  As a young adult, he lived for a period of time in Minot, and eventually found his home in Grafton at the Life Skills & Transition Center where he worked most of his adult life.

Tim was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Minot.  Tim also learned to sign, and his favorite signs were:  “soda pop,” “sunglasses,” and “van ride”.  Tim’s voice came in the form of his ability to connect with others.  He had many friend and people he considered family at Grafton.  Tim was an astute judge of character and knew Mr. Rogers was cool even before his siblings did.  Consider yourself a VIP if you received Tim’s stamp of approval.

Tim enjoyed playing basketball, swimming, bicycling with his Dad, van rides, traveling, and spending time with people he loved.

His loving family includes his mother, Barbara of Minot; sister, Beth (Brady) Sorensen, Minot; brothers, Stephen (Ruth) Braun, Minot, James (Ethel) Braun, Detroit, MI and Jonathan (Angeles) Braun, Jacksonville, FL; nieces and nephews: Rachel and Reo Allen (Zane) of Minneapolis MN; Kara and Josh Munn (Benjamin) of Beaverton OR; Sonja of Jacksonville FL; Vanessa of West Point NY; Hannah of Detroit MI; Daniel and Jeremiah of Minot; and numerous cousins.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, William A. Braun.
