Obituary
Nettie L. Paul, 62, of Mandan, passed away Thursday, July 1, 2021, at CHI St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 10, 2021, at Weigel Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Leer as celebrant.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
Nettie L. (Harmon) Paul was born on December 29, 1958, to Carl and Betty (Bradford) Harmon in Williston, ND. Nettie was raised and educated in Williston where she graduated from high school and went to college and received an associate degree from Williston State College. Nettie married John Paul on January 26, 2008, and spent 14 wonderful years together.
Nettie worked as a front desk manager at the Comfort Inn and Suites of Mandan and received an award for her exceptional hospitality and attention to detail. She also enjoyed selling Scentsy and Herbalife in her spare time and loved to travel.
Nettie was a selfless person who put others before herself and was always willing to step up to help or lend a hand. Nettie loved spending time with her kids and grandkids and enjoyed planning things for them to do together. She talked to her granddaughter every day.
Nettie will be deeply missed by her husband, John; children, Nathan (Keiko) Borrud and Bryan (Jeannie) Borrud; grandchildren, Austyn, Cayley, Nolan, Bella, and Colton; stepchildren, Jamie (Allyson), Jeromy (Melanie), and Jaron; step-granddaughter, Natalie; sister, Valerie (David) Braaten; half sister, DebraLee (Steve) Koblos; brother-in-law, Richard (Loretta) Paul; numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Roxanne.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
