Norma was born October 10, 1949, to William and Marjorie (Bohlin) Eslinger.  She went to St. Leo’s Grade School, Bishop Ryan High School in Minot and two years at Minot State University.  She relocated to Bismarck where she graduated from Bismarck State College with an AA Degree. Her career took her to the Department of Transportation in Bismarck working in the Legal Department for seven years; Democratic-NPL State Headquarters for one campaign; ND State Tax Department; NCDC; ND State Health Department and to Montana Dakota Utilities Co. retiring after 30 years with the Utility.  She was most proud having worked with four President & CEOs of the Utility.

She followed their lives as they grew into adulthood.  She volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House, the Salvation Army, the American Cancer Society, and the Oncology Department at Sanford.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Norma is survived by her daughter Kristin (Larry) Larson; her grandchildren, Samuel Larson and Thomas (Adair) Murdoch; great grandson Xander Murdoch; great grand-daughter Mira Murdoch; two brothers, George (Kay) Eslinger of Bismarck and Paul Eslinger of LaFayette, Colorado; one sister, Renee (Tom) Caswell of Park City, Utah; several nieces and nephews; and many great friends.
