Linda Iglehart

Linda Iglehart, 60, of Garrison, passed away April 15, 2023, at her home.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Burial will be held at St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 5:00-6:30 PM on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with a Rosary at 6:30 PM.
Linda Marie Kastner was born on August 25, 1962, to Phyllis and Emil Kastner in Minot, North Dakota. They raised Linda on a farm northwest of Garrison along with her eleven siblings.
Linda met Douglas Allen Iglehart in the spring of 1978. The two were married on October 5, 1979. Doug and Linda have four children; Travis, Andrew, Tawnya, and Allen. The family lived and farmed west of Garrison. No matter the day, Linda enjoyed spending quality time with Doug, riding along in the combine and bringing meals to the field. As a proud mother, she encouraged her kids to join and be active in 4H, Linda also served as a club leader. Linda also kept the family busy in FFA, sports and the church.
When she made time for herself, you would find Linda making crafts. She was an avid collector of antiques, many of which she refinished. These treasures were found at garage sales and at the thrift store hanging out with Nancy. Collecting ceramic pigs was also a big hobby of hers. She gained interest in yoga where she had fun with her friends. Linda’s faith and going to church was an important part of her life. She served on the St. Anne’s Altar Society for several years. Linda also looked forward to Election Day, where she often pitched in as a poll worker. She painted faces for the Garrison Arts-in-the-park and helped out with the Garrison Community Halloween event. Christmas was her favorite holiday as she loved entertaining family with traditional foods, games, laughter, and making memories.
As the family grew, she was blessed as a grandmother to Nashton, Dawson, Braxton, Treyson, Brynn, Addyson, Shaelynn, and Brookstyn.
Linda is survived by her husband, Douglas; children, Travis (Mindy), Andrew (Cindy), Tawnya (Joel), and Allen (McKenna); eight grandchildren; siblings, Sandra Kastner, Jim (Tami) Kastner, Bob (Colleen) Kastner, Carolyn Brewster, Paul (Donna) Kastner, Kelly Kastner, Tim (Shirelle) Kastner, Patti (Paul) Garcia, Rhonda (Stu) Kragh; mother and father in-law, Donald and Donna Iglehart; In-laws, Debbie Starleaf, Donovan (Mary) Iglehart, DeeAnn Lowry; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Gary and Galen, granddaughter, Avyn; nephew, Sean, niece, Heather, in-laws, Donny Brewster, Larry Starleaf, Dirck and Sherry Iglehart.
