Glorianne C. Weflen

Glorianne Charmayne Weflen, 91, Dickinson, died on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at St. Benedictine Living Community, Dickinson. Glorianne’s Funeral Service will be at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Rev. Joe Stefalo and Rev. Jim Hessler officiating. Entombment will take place at the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Glorianne was born January 6, 1932 in Thief River Falls, Minn., the daughter of Charlie and Minnie (Anderson) Johnson, where she was raised and attended country school.

On September 3, 1950, Glorianne was united in marriage to Dvane Weflen in Tioga. They lived there until 1972 when they moved to Dickinson.

She worked at J.C. Penney’s and really liked it, for 18 years. Glorianne made many good friends during her time there. She enjoyed sewing, camping, and being outdoors.

Glorianne was a faithful person and truly loved God.

Glorianne is survived by her four children, Linda Igard, Dickinson, Dianell (Darrell) Sandberg, Idaho, Kenneth (Wanda) Weflen, Dickinson, and Cindy (Jim) Flohr, Dickinson; ten grandchildren, David, Matthew, Jessica, Sabrina, Nate, Jennifer, Amber, Shannon, Sheri, and Michael; 19 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mavis Langaas, Hallock, Minn, and Lillian Rux, Thief River Falls; brother, Eldo Johnson, New Town; several cousins, nieces, nephews; and sister-in-law, Jeanette Swanson, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dvane, on November 21, 2000; her parents; one grandson-in-law, Toby Messer; one great-grandson, Kacy Weflen; brothers, Lavern and Dewaine; sisters, Cora, Annette, and Elaine; and several nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to River of Life Church International, Dickinson or a church of your choice.
