Roger Noel, 69, Minot, formerly of Lowell, MA died Thursday, January 26, 2023, in his home.

Roger J. Noel was born February 19, 1953, in Lowell, MA to Peter Noel Sr. and Theresa (Michaud) Noel. He was educated in Lowell earning his GED through the Lowell School system.

Roger enlisted in the US Air Force in 1973. Where he served honorably in service to his country through the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm with a K9 unit. He was discharged on August 31, 1994.

Roger moved to Minot, ND in 1994 and started work in the construction industry with Earthmovers.  He remained in this position until joining Strata Corporation (5 yrs.) after this employment he joined Underground Construction Inc (9 yrs.).  He retired in Sept 2021.

Roger was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and held the President Title for The Blue Knights Motorcycle Club ND II, both of Minot. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, vacationing in Massachusetts and loved the coast of Maine. He also was proud to be a member of the Blue Knights organizing fund raisers and rides for the less fortunate.

Roger’s loving family includes his children  (daughter) Amanda (Noel) Cearley, her husband Caleb R Cearley, Grand Forks, ND, (son) Joshua Noel, Minot, ND, and (daughter) Lexy Kuntz Noel, Bismarck, ND;  grandchildren Caleb ‘CJ’ R Cearley, Hailee Noel Cearley, Aaliyah Noel, Jaxon Noel, Jerry Kuntz and  Jade Johnson :  Kendra Tibke, Kiley Tibke; great-grandchildren, Ariah Kuntz, Anika Kuntz and KaeDrian Fernando; His  mother Theresa Noel, Methuen, MA; sister Sandra Noel-Kurkjian her husband Garnick ‘Nickie’ Kurkjian, Methuen, MA; brothers Peter Noel his wife  Suzanne(Martel) Noel and Paul Noel his wife Paula (Large) Noel, all of Dracut MA, and Michael Noel his wife Susan (Faber) Noel, of Port Charlotte FL along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Roger was preceded in death by his father Peter E. Noel Sr.

Graveside Service: 3:00 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2023 at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, rural Mandan, ND

Visitation: Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
