Francine Karen Henry, 48, passed away on December 17, 2022.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the White Shield Complex, White Shield, ND.

 

A Wake Service will begin at 5:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022, at the White Shield Complex, White Shield, ND.

 

Francine Karen Henry was born on August 27, 1974, to Clarine Ross and John Henry Jr in Belcourt, ND. She grew up in White Shield, ND and Dunseith, ND. She has family from both places. Francine had her children, and they were the joy of her life. She loved to spend time with her children, cousins, brothers and sisters, aunts and uncles, and the many friends whom she held dear to her heart. Francine earned her trade in certified welding, which she enjoyed very much. She enjoyed sweat ceremonies, talking circles, playing volleyball and handball. Francine passed away peacefully on December 17, 2022.

 

Francine is survived by her mother, Clarine Ross; her father, John Henry Jr.; her brothers, Richard Henry Sr., Eric Henry, Josh Poitra (Carissa), Corwin Nelson, Dylan Nelson; her sisters, Brandy Nelson, Ashley Henry (Scott), Felicia Parisian(Brady); her children, Catherine Nielsen, Dorothy Henry, Myron Henry, Jaidyn Henry; her grandchildren, three grandsons and two granddaughters;14 nieces and eight nephews.

 

Francine is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Selma Packineau and Perry Ross; her paternal grandparents, Bernice Henry and John Henry Sr., her brother Gary “Frank” Henry and her sister Christin Ross and numerous aunts and uncles from both sides of her family.
