Debbie L. Lee, 64, of Rock Lake, ND passed away on Dec. 9, 2022 in a Bismarck Hospital with her loving family by her side. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 17th, 2022 at 11am at First Lutheran Church of Plaza ND. In accordance with Debbie’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Debbie Lee Weigel was born on January 4, 1958 to Donald and Lila (Olson) Weigel in Garrison, ND.
Debbie was raised on the farm in Roseglen. She attended school in White Shield until Senior year where she graduated from North Shore High School. Debbie was active in basketball and cheerleading throughout school.
Debbie was blessed with two children. Joy in 1976 and Jason in 1978. Debbie was also blessed with a loving partner of 20 years, Jeff Bruhn.
Debbie worked for Opportunity Foundation in Williston for over 35 years in a variety of positions. She loved playing cards and board games, embroidery, loved to read and loved traveling to visit family and friends. She was an excellent cook. She loved her horses. Debbie was basically good at everything she did and she lived life to the fullest. Most of all she made sure her children knew how much she loved them every day. Debbie touched the lives of all she knew and loved with no end.
Survived by Immediate Family: Partner of 20 years Jeff Bruhn, Rock Lake, ND; Daughter Joy (Wes) Ruud, Parshall, ND; Son Jason (Lindsay) Ruud, West Fargo, ND; Bonus Sons Joshua (Kelli) Bruhn, Rapid City, SD; Jarvis Bruhn, Rapid City, SD; Bonus Daughter Jhonda Bruhn, Belle Fourche, SD; Grandchildren Myles, Kailyn, Kylen, Cambria, Carter, Dayne, Alexis, Jace, Kadence, Amari; Granddog Hank George; Brothers Dean Weigel, Bismarck, ND; Robert Weigel, Mandan, ND; Shawn (Jenn) Weigel, Minot, ND; sister, Renee (Wayne) Klabunde, Garrison, ND; Special Sisters (Smile you know who you are and were loved so very much); Many, many close friends and beloved extended family members.
Preceded in Death by: Birth parents Donald Weigel and Lila Weigel; Mom Adelaide Brunsell Waller; Brother Stewart Weigel; Favorite Uncle Vernon Weigel and numerous others she all loved dearly.
