Rosella Weber, 88, Minot, died Thursday, November 24, 2022 in a Minot hospital.
Rosella was born December 15, 1933, in Ryder, ND to Bernard and Lila (Knudtson) Mahoney. She spent her childhood in Ryder and graduated from Ryder High School in 1952.
Rosella was united in marriage to Kenneth Weber on November 11, 1955 at Oak Valley Lutheran Church. They made their home in Minot and were blessed with three children, Galen, Kay and Keith.
Rosella spent twenty-four of her working years as the office manager for the Minot American Legion Post 26 in Minot alongside her husband as he served within the organization. She continued in an office role for Office Machine & Furniture of Minot and even dabbled in sales until she retired in 1995. Kenneth died October 30, 2009.
Rosella was a longtime member of Bethany Lutheran Church of Minot and served the congregation by teaching Sunday School classes for a few years. She was a lifelong member of the American Legion Auxiliary, serving in many official roles that included State President from 1981-82. Rosella also maintained a membership with the VFW Auxiliary in Minot.
Rosella enjoyed crafting and spending time in the garden. She found joy in cooking and treasured the time spent gathering with family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to share in her life.
Rosella is survived by her children Galen (Donna) Weber, Glendale, AZ, Kay (Brad) Brentrup and Keith Weber, both of Minot; grandchildren Kayla (Dustin Ronning) Brentrup, Aaron (Miranda) Brentrup and Jason Reed; great-grandchildren Jordyn Reed, Alaina, Kinley and Cashtin Brentrup and Adison Ronning; siblings Vanona Rime, Garrison, ND, Patricia Trueblood, Minot, Judy (Joe) Senger, Minot, ND and Crystal (Glenn) Eslinger, Bismarck, ND; sister-in-law Deb Mahoney, Minot along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepfather Norman Buchholz; infant sister Mary Blanch Mahoney, sisters Cecelia Mahnke and Ilene McFarlen and brothers Gerald and Bernard Jr. ‘Butch’ Mahoney; brothers-in-law Cliff Rime, Myron Trueblood, Clarence Mahnke and Donald McFarlen.

Interment: Rosehill Memorial Park, Minot.
Visitation: Wednesday, November 30, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
