Verla LaVern Sutheimer, of Bismarck, ND died at her home after a long battle with cancer on November 21, 2022.
Verla was born in Hazen, ND to Carl F. and Lillie (Weigum) Sutheimer on March 29, 1953.
Verla lived most of her life in Arizona & Nevada, where she worked as a waitress for the most of her life until she moved to Bismarck 11 years ago. She worked at Missouri Slope till shortly before her death.
She enjoyed vacationing with various family members.
Verla will be missed by her brothers Melvin (Marilyn) Sutheimer, and Marvin (Wanda) Sutheimer of Zap, ND. Sister Darlene (Donald) Lincoln, ND, and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Lilli, three sisters, Bernice Olheiser, Leona Klein, Ilene Haux, and two brothers-in-law Ted Olheiser & Rodger Haux, and one niece Sherri Kuntz and one great nephew Austin Olheiser.
Many heart felt thank to the Sanford Hospice Staff.
