Braxton Mitchell, 23, of Minot and Mesa, AZ died on Friday, November 18, 2022 in Los Angeles, CA.

Braxton Cinque Mitchell was born on February 10, 1999 in Pontiac, MI to Faye Miller and Kenneth Mitchell. He was raised in the Detroit metropolitan area and the San Francisco Bay Area where the family moved in 2010.

Braxton was a graduate of Tamalpais High School, Mill Valley, CA and then continued his education at Santa Monica City College for two years and Arizona State University, Tempe for the past three years where he was majoring in economics.

While in high school Braxton was a member of the football team and the Marin Highlanders Rugby Team. As a student at Arizona State University he was a member of the ASU Rugby Club. For the past six years Braxton looked forward to working with his family on their farm North of Minot.

Braxton enjoyed piano, world history and intellectual discussions. He could also spend hours working on cars and other mechanical things. Braxton was very personable and was known as a great friend. The good he saw in every person was reflected in his radiant smile.

Braxton is survived by his mother Faye Miller of Minot, father Kenneth Mitchell of Detroit, brother Tristan Mitchell of Davis, CA, half brother Eric Mitchell of Detroit, paternal grandparents Dempsey Mitchell of Sunnyvale, CA and Roberta Mitchell of Maricopa, AZ and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Braxton was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Doran and Connie Miller.
