VeeAnn Marie Koapke Cisneros

VeeAnn Koapke Cisneros, 60, Minot, died Monday, October 24, 2022, in her home.

VeeAnn was born October 4, 1962, in Minot, ND to William and LaVonne (Nicholson) Bachmeier. She spent the years of her youth and received her education in Bottineau, ND.

VeeAnn was once married to Alan Koapke. This union was blessed with a son, David. They made their home in Minot, where she worked as a gaming manager for the Minot Hockey Boosters.

VeeAnn held several positions during her working years. Her favorite job was at a daycare. She loved caring for children, spending countless hours with her sister creating activities to help them grow. She also worked at the library while living in Parshall.

VeeAnn’s door was open to anyone in need, offering a loving home if they needed a place to stay. She loved kids and cats her family often joked. Above all else, VeeAnn loved her family and her faith.

VeeAnn endured ten long years of COPD disease, limiting many activities in her life. We now see her running one more time to Heaven! VeeAnn enjoyed watching scary movies and reading her favorite Stephen King book, when not in a competitive game of match three on her computer. She will be missed deeply by everyone who was blessed to share in her life.

VeeAnn is survived by her son David Koapke, Killdeer, ND and granddaughter Isabelle Vee; sisters Valerie (Brad) Stadheim and Jeanette Bachmeier, both of Minot; brother Kirk Bachmeier, Bismarck along with many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.

VeeAnn was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, Selma Bachmeier and beloved pet cats Ashes, Oil and Thumbs.

Mass of Christian Burial:  10:00 a.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Little Flower Catholic Church, Minot with fellowship and refreshments immediately following Mass at the Moose Lodge in Minot.

In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to an animal shelter of your choice.
