Ginger Goulette, 71, lifelong Minot resident and longtime floral designer died on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 in a Minot hospital following a 16-month long battle with cancer.
Ginger Lane Kringen was born on February 27, 1951 in Minot, ND to Kenneth and Jean (Hofer) Kringen. She was raised and educated in Minot and graduated from Minot High School in 1969. As a young adult she began her career as a floral designer at the Minot Air Force Base Flower Shop.
Ginger was once married to Dale Goulette. They made their home at the Minot Air Force Base prior to Ginger moving to Minot where she continued her career as a floral designer at Sullivans Floral, Minot Floral, Country Meadows and Lowe’s Floral and Garden. Also, she worked as a hostess at Ryan’s Family Dining. She retired in 2020.
Ginger especially enjoyed crafts and reading books, card playing, dining and hanging out with family and friends and visiting with anyone with whom she came in contact.
Ginger’s loving family includes her children: Kristi (Jeff) Lozensky of Wilmington NC and Nathan Goulette (Alexis Perez) of Berthold; granddaughter: Amber Lozensky; siblings: Richard (Vicki) Kringen of Mesa and Wayne (Diane) Kringen of Boise and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Ginger was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Nicole, brother: Tom Kringen and nephew: Kody Kringen.
Public Visitation and Viewing: Monday, October 3, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
Celebration of the Life of Ginger Goulette: Wednesday, October 5, 2022 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Lowe’s Garden Center.
