Gordon Renken
August 23, 1951 – September 23, 2022
Gordon Renken, 71, passed away on September 23, 2022, in a Garrison nursing home after a lengthy battle with Huntington’s.
As per his wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Gordon was born August 23, 1951, to Leo and Ruth (Finck) Renken in Elgin, ND. He graduated from Flasher High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping. He loved to drive around the countryside and driving the fertilizer tender truck. Some of his favorite things were Mountain Dew and Carmel Rolls.
Gordon moved to Crosby in 1997 and worked at New Century Ag until 2014.
He is survived by Doreen (Duane) Leingang of Mandan, Sharon (George) Hopkins of Mandan, Donald Renken of Flasher, Douglas Renken of Flasher, and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Randy and Darrell; nephews, Jesse Leingang and Billy Joe Hopkins; niece, Jessica Leingang.
