Irene Iverson, 93, Bismarck, passed away on Monday, September 5th due to complication for an illness.
Born to Elizabeth and George Bittis, she lived her entire life in Bismarck. A graduate of Bismarck High School and business school, she worked for soil conservation at the state capitol until her retirement. She enjoyed spending time at the lake, enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking and pontooning with her husband and grandson.
She is survived by son, Stephen (Sonja); daughter, Cheryl (Greg); two brothers, Jim (Monica) and George; grandson, Neal; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband, Richard and son, Mark.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. She will be cremated in the fall with a private burial service.
