James Thomas Kinsella was born on March 5, 1939, to Henry and Regina (Ressler) Kinsella in Mandan, ND.  He grew up in “dogtown” while having the nickname “the Mandan Mafia”.  While still in high school he joined the Navy where he earned his GED. He worked as a Boilermaker and was proud of the Local 647.

Linda Marie Siegel was born on September 19, 1942, to Pauline Siegel in Mandan, ND.  She was raised by her grandparents and several special aunts and uncles on the family homestead near Hensler, ND.   She attended Sacred Heart Academy and had to ride the train to get there.  After graduation, she became a beautician until the time she became a full-time homemaker.

Jim and Linda were married on January 6, 1966.  They loved each other fiercely and rarely were they ever apart.  They loved their grandchildren beyond measure and often adopted extras into the family.  Their greatest joy being their great granddaughters, Izzy and Araura,

Jim loved to garden, hunt, fish, visit over coffee, and play cribbage.  Linda loved her active social life and enjoyed playing pinochle with her many card friends, volunteered as a girl scout leader, and was a creative and wonderful cook and hostess.  They both enjoyed serving others and it showed in their actions as they were lifetime members of the Elks, the Moose, Women of the Moose, as well as the Bismarck Amvets and AFL-CIO organization.

Preceded in death by their parents and grandparents, infant son and daughter, Jim’s siblings Robert, June (Fred) Broder, Harold (Phyllis), Gary, Brother-in-laws Kenny Snider and Alan Fandrick, and son-in-law Dan Greff, as well as so many good friends and extended family.  May you find joy in your reunion.

They will be deeply missed by their daughter Tammy Kinsella-Greff and her children Krysi, Nicholas (Katie), Josh, and Dylan (Lacey), great granddaughters, Izzy and Araura, their son James J Kinsella and special friend Jess, his son Zackry, Jims’s sisters Karen Snider, Dixie (Rodney) Bruce, Jackie Fandrick, brother Tim and special friend Arvada and so many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews, and family by choice- Nathan and Thomas, and Candy.
