Vicki Rae Watson, 80, passed away in her Bismarck home early on the morning of August 12, 2022.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 19, 2022 held at St Mary’s Cemetery, N. 23rd St., Bismarck.
Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, August 18, 2022 Eastgate Funeral Service, 2302 E. Divide Ave, Bismarck.
Vicki was born in Wellston, OH on April 5, 1942 to Georgia Bellamy and raised by her aunt and step-uncle Grace & Raymond Watson. In 1960, she graduated from Travis High School in Austin TX.
After spending over 25 years as a social work aide at the Golden Triangle Community Mental Health Center in Great Falls MT, Vicki retired to enjoy a life of boating & fishing with close friend JoAnne Blaser. They also shared a love for dachshunds, raising a number of them as companions for the remainder of her days.
Vicki is survived by sisters, Pam Becker, Leona Nelson, Marie Ellen Walker, & Marguerite White; daughter, Tami (Ed) Wass; son RC (Candace) Courtright; friend, JoAnne Blaser; grandsons, Scott (Kacey) Grigarauskas & Michael (Kristine Lawwill) Wass; step-grandson Andrew Geigle; great-grandsons, Landon & Cadence (Scott & Kacey); nieces, Lindsay, Marcia, & Kendra; nephews, Jeromy, Jason, & Rex; and grand-niece, Adalynn.
She was preceded in death by her mother; aunt; and step-uncle, as well as her beloved Dachshunds: Henry, Shadow, Zeke, & Anna.
