Carol was born on December 18, 1940, to Bert and Florence (Haut) LeDoux in Dickinson, ND.  She was raised and educated in Belfield, ND where she graduated in 1954. After graduation she went to Christie Beauty School and started work as a beautician.

She met the love of her life, Paul Reisenauer at a dance. On October 29, 1959, they were united in marriage in Belfield, ND. They made their home in Dickinson where she worked at Caroline’s Salon. After Cindy was born, she decided to be a stay at home mom. After Roland was born they decided to move to Bismarck for Paul’s work and she started a day care out of their home and continued to do day care after Tanya and Jodi were born. After kids where grown she went to work at Marillac Manor Beauty Salon which she helped create and operate. She loved working with all the residents until she retired.

She enjoyed gardening, which included flower beds around the outside of the house and many different plants and flowers inside the house.  Her favorite things to do was spending time with her family and playing BINGO and cards with family and friends. So many times, you would hear her saying, “That was great!” or if it wasn’t, she said “That wasn’t great!”. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Carol is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Steven) Mormann, of Lincoln, ND, Tanya (Wade) Romfo of Hannah, ND, and Jodi Reisenauer (Tim) of Bismarck ND; son, Roland (Jennica) Reisenauer of Mandan, ND; grandchildren, Cody (Emily), Josh (Christal), Nicholas (Kaylin), Tesa, Corin (Kyle), Myranda (Michael), Trenton (Maddy), Travis, McKenzie, Hunter, Tanner, Briana, and Nevaeh; great grandchildren, Emma, Oliver, Garrett, Colt, Lydia, and Waylon; sister, Bonnie (Ed) Dvorak of Gladstone, ND; sister-in-law, Deloris Reisenauer of Bismarck; her dog, Sandy; and many nieces and nephews.
