Darwin Nickle, 50, Norwich died unexpectedly on Monday, July 18, 2022, in his home.
Darwin Carter Nickle was born on July 11,1972 in St. Cloud, MN to David and Karen (Klimpel) Nickle. He was raised in Norwich, graduated from Granville High School in 1990 and from NDSU Bottineau with an Associates Degree in Ag Business. As a young adult, he was employed by Security Fence and later by Bechtold Paving for 27 years. More recently, he was proud to have established Nickle Trucking Company which allowed him to work with his brother and nephew. Darwin married Brandi Knutson Lambert on October 26, 2013. They made their home in Norwich.
Darwin especially enjoyed time spent at home with Brandi, Kayden, and their dog Marley, farming with his brothers, spending time with his family, building model trucks with Kayden, hunting, and time spent in his Peterbilt.
Darwin’s loving family includes his wife of 8 years Brandi; children: Kayden Lambert and Shea Knutson; brother: Dominic (Fran) Nickle of Deering; nephew: Devin (Ashleigh) Nickle; great nephew: Daxtin Nickle; parents-in-law: Phyllis and Gary Norman; sister-in-law: Jana Knutson and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darwin was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and brother: David Nickle Jr.
Public Visitation: Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
A Private Service will be held at the Thomas Family Funeral Home.
