Words cannot express the deep void left in our lives as our “life of the party” daughter, wife and sister was called home on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, July 15 at Parkway Funeral Services, 2330 Tyler Parkway, Bismarck.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 6:00 PM, Thursday, July 14, with a prayer service and time of sharing starting at 6:00PM.
Ashley Plante-Schumacher was born February 16, 1987, to Parnel and Mary Plante. She enjoyed singing in choir, playing soccer, volleyball and tennis through her school years, graduating from BHS in 2005. She went on to earn her degree in OT from the University of Mary. She married her high school sweetheart, Michael Schumacher on January 2, 2009. Ashley loved people, especially kids which led her to work and eventually co-manage Super Kids Daycare. It was always so special to see all the little ones come running to her when they saw her out in public to give her a hug. Ashley had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and make people laugh. We envision her laughing and starting shenanigans in heaven with family that has gone before her.
Grateful to have shared in her short time with us are her husband, Michael Schumacher; her parents, Parnel and Mary Plante; her sister and brother-in-law, Courtney and Alex Sieberg; her mother and father-in-law, Greg and Allison Schumacher; sister-in-law and family, Lisa, Kirsten, Marcus, Cody, and brother-in-law, Ben Schumacher. She also leaves many aunts, uncles and cousins whom she loved dearly.
Greeting her in heaven, along with Jesus, are her grandparents, Floyd and Viola Bitz, Gary and Mercedes Plante. We know Ashley already has them playing a game of Chicago rummy.
Ashley, you gifted us with your love, caring and hearty laugh. You will forever be in our hearts.
