Bertha Christensen, 89, New England, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2022 following a brief illness at Marion Manor Healthcare Center, Glen Ullin. Bertha’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Janel Kolar officiating. Interment will take place with her husband Milbern at the New England Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Bertha was born July 24, 1932, to John Wolf and Kate (Zenker) Wolf. She was united in marriage to Bob Clark. To that marriage they had one daughter, Sharon. Bob passed in a motor vehicle accident. She then married Milbern Christensen on October 20, 1960.
She was active member of New England Congregational Church. She loved gardening, doing puzzles and their dogs.
Bertha is survived by her stepchildren, Linda (Duane) Miller of Rapid City, SD, Randy Christensen, Wagner, Oklahoma, Tom (Beckie) Christensen, New England, Dean (Maria) Christensen, Clear Lake, SD; 13 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter Sharon, and husbands Bob and Milbern.
