Lavonne M. Friesz was born on August 19, 1962 in Mott, the daughter of Virgil and Rose (Friesz) Anderson. Lavonne was the oldest of five children, Rhonda Hill, Leann Huschka and Karen Sartain and Kelly Anderson.

She was diagnosed with metastatic cancer a month ago and it aggressively attacked her liver, backbone and spinal cord which caused her to lose her lower body strength. The surgeons did everything they could to help her by removing half of an apple sized tumor to give her a chance of walking again. Lavonne entered rehab in Fargo to regain her mobility, but she succumbed to complications from the surgery.

Lavonne was loved and will always be remembered by her daughters, Annie M. (Chris Young) Hutzenbiler, Amy R. (Shawn Novotny) Hutzenbiler, and Sara M. (Mars Novotny) Friesz. She cherished here granddaughter, Trinity Friesz and her grandsons, Konnar Hutzenbiler and Nikolai Young.

The family requests that you wear a tie-dye T-shirt or a T-shirt in Lavonne’s favorite colors of red or pink to honor her memory.
