Ashlan Garcia, 20, Minot, formerly of Donnybrook, died May 27, 2022, in Minot.
Ashlan was born October 28, 2001, in Los Angeles, CA to Nelson and Shelly (Frances) Garcia. He grew up in Donnybrook and was educated in Kenmare, ND.
Ashlan joined the workforce after high school in Minot. He was a talented musician, who played the clarinet and bass clarinet. Ashlan was a ‘computer geek’ who excelled at building computers but enjoyed playing games on them too. He was often found on walks in the park or riding around Minot on his bike. He had such a kind heart and had such brightness at a young age. He will forever be missed.
Ashlan is survived by his mother Shelly Frances, Minot and father Nelson Garcia of California; sisters Dayanara Garcia, Fargo, ND and Shakira Garcia, Minot, ND; Maria Soledad Garcia, Santo Domingo Dominican Rep, brother Jose’ A. Garcia, La Vega, Dominican Rep. along with extended family.
Visitation of Family and Friends: Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Thomas Family Funeral Home, Minot.
