Raymond Andrew Skoglund, 78, Baldwin passed away from natural causes in his home on May 26, 2022.

A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the Sunne Lutheran Church, 7701 ND-36 Wilton, ND.

Visitation will be held 5-6:30 p.m. Monday, May 30, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyer Parkway.

Burial will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, at the Regan Cemetery.

Raymond Andrew Skoglund was born February 27, 1944, in Bismarck. He is the son of Ernest O. Skoglund and Laura Mae (Gjers) Skoglund.  He grew up on a farm East of Baldwin, attended grade school at the Cromwell No. 1.  Raymond farmed and ranched in the Baldwin area, as well as worked as a tractor mechanic at Bisman Ford. Raymond married his first wife Mary (Morris) and they had 4 children, Naomi, Heidi, Alice, and Russell. Raymond was currently married to his loving wife Patricia (Bartlett) for the last 24 years.

Raymond was well known for his outgoing personality, playful nature as he was always joking around with family and friends. Just about anywhere Raymond went he knew someone and would spend time visiting, catching up on the latest news, gossip and sharing his ideas. Raymond was hard working, could fix anything, enjoyed working with metal, restoring old tractors, repairing broken things, fabricating, creating new inventions, gardening, and making interesting and unique yard art.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Patricia (Bartlett); daughter and son-in-law, Naomi and Barry Becker of Baldwin; Stepson Erik and daughter-in-law Vanessa Hein from Bismarck; stepdaughter, Jeanne and Son-in-law Scott Fiedor from Palm Bay, Florida; grandchildren, Nicole Becker, Seth Becker, Sam Skoglund and Erik Jr. Hein; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Grace and Lucas Stewart; many nieces and nephews; sister, Shirley Metz; and his brother Dewey Jiras.

Raymond is proceeded in death by his parents, Ernest O. Skoglund, Laura Mae Jiras, and Joseph Jiras; children, Alice, Heidi, and Russell Skoglund; and his sister Katherine Stoxen.
