Patric Evans, 85, Minot and formerly of Baton Rouge, Louisiana died on Friday, May 20, 2022 in a Minot assisted living facility.

Patric Jo Evans was born on November 26, 1936 in Natchez, Mississippi to Albert and Caliea (Hodge) Corban.  She was raised and educated in Natchez and graduated from Washington High School there in 1956.  Then, her family moved to Louisiana and she attended a Baton Rouge, LA beauty school where she attained certification as a beautician.  She resided in Baton Rouge for the next 30 years where she was employed at Winn-Dixie Supermarket as a cashier and as a beautician.  Also, she was a faithful caregiver for her mother for many years.  She moved to Minot in 1997 to be closer to her son, Dr. Patrick Evans, and his family.  She was employed at J.C. Penny Department Store for a short time prior to her retirement in 1998. Most recently she had resided at Edgewood Vista.

Patric was a member of the Baptist Faith and especially enjoyed crafts, reading and cooking.

Patric’s loving family includes her son: Dr. Patrick J. (Collette) Evans of Minot; grandchildren: Matthew (Tiana) Evans of Grand Forks and Joel Schneider of Regina and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings:  Helen Rush, Frances “Patty” White, Peggy Calhoun and Dorothy Calcote and granddaughter: Jasmin Schneider.

Celebration of the Life of Patric Evans:  Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. in the Thomas Family Funeral Home – Minot.
Visitation will be for thirty minutes prior to the service at the funeral home.
Interment:  Rosehill Memorial Park – Minot.
Memorials are preferred to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or the donor’s choice.
