Obituary
Janice K. Cady, 61, died of natural causes, Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Sanford Hospital, Bismarck ND. She was born August 26, 1960, in Elgin ND, daughter of Peter Loeb and Kathryn (Winters) Loeb.
Janice graduated from Flasher High School, Class of 1978. Following graduation, Janice moved to SD where she met her late husband, Timothy Cady.
She returned to Mandan where she was employed at Econo Foods, K-Mart, later M & H Gas & Hardees. Janice loved to garden, visit with her two neighbor friends, Linda and Diane and cuddle with her cat, Jasmine. Jasmine was Janice’s family as she didn’t have children of her own. The thing Janice looked forward to each summer was going to her sisters place in Beulah for family BBQ’s and adoring the many flowers in her flower beds. She loved visiting with her nieces and nephews and her sisters grandchildren. Janice loved to listen to music, especially 80’s and 90’s. Janice was a compassionate, loving and funny daughter, sister, aunt.
In addition to Janice’s grandparents and parents, she was preceeded in death by her nephew Skylar Loeb, Brothers Hugo and Gerald Loeb. Janice is survived by her brother, Jim Loeb of Mandan, Sister’s Yvonne Loeb of Mandan and Gloria (Loeb-Keller) Olheiser of Beulah, along with many nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held for Janice at 10:00 AM CT on Friday, May 27, 2022, at Weigel Funeral Home, Mandan. A burial service will follow at Mandan Union Cemetery in Mandan. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Friday.
