Pauline Fettig, 84, Steele, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022, in Bismarck.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 318 2nd St SW, Steele.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, at Parkway Funeral Service, 2330 Tyler Pkwy, Bismarck, with a prayer service starting at 7pm. Visitation will also continue one hour prior to the service at the church.
Burial will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.
Pauline was born on October 27, 1937, to Sebastian and Elizabeth (Wagner) Johs. She was raised on a farm near Burnstad, ND. She married Anton Fettig on May 27, 1957. They moved to a farm near Steele and raised 8 children.
She is survived by her husband Anton; children, Deborah (Michael) Zueger, Dale (Nancy), Byron (Tari), Wayne (Tammy Birrenkott), Thomas, Brenda (Dave) Archer, Cheryl (Gerry) Manderfeld, Mark (Nancy Chadwick); 7 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Lillian Scherr; brother, Anton Johs; and son-in-law, Michael Zueger.
