Alice Jacobson, 86, Wing passed away March 5, 2022, at Baptist Health, Bismarck. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Wing. Visitation will be held one hour prior at the church.
Alice was born September 1, 1935, on the family farm north of McClusky to John and Alma (Hegel) Bentz. She attended McClusky County School and worked at the Corner Café.
She married Orville Jacobson August 29, 1955. They made their home on a farm north of McClusky until 1962 when they bought a farm five miles northwest of Wing. Together they raised four children: Gerald, Betty, Roy and Ray. Alice and her family worked hard on the farm together. She also worked many years at the Wing Café and later at the Senior Center for a total of 32 years.
She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church since 1985. She enjoyed bible study and quilting with friends at the church. She enjoyed playing pinochle, whist and board games at the center.
Alice is survived by her four children, Gerald (Marie), Roy (Nancy), Ray (Phyllis) and Betty; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Melvin (Vangie) Bentz, Clifford (Doris) Bentz, and LeRoy (Arlene) Bentz; and sisters, Videll (Ferdie) Kimminau and Linda (Ted) Weinberger.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Orville; her parents; and one infant brother, Reinhold.
