Dallas Peterson, 47 of New England, ND – April 24, 1973 to January 23, 2022.

There will be a committal service for Dallas at 2 p.m. CT, Wednesday, February 2, 2022 with Military Honors provided by the Mandan Honor Guard at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Dallas Peterson, a U.S. Army Veteran and Casper, Wyoming resident passed away on January 23, 2022. Dallas is survived by his wife, Michele Peterson, his daughter, Melissa Peterson, and his son, Tyler Peterson (Sierra) and two granddaughters, Amberly and Marley Peterson.

Dallas was born on April 24, 1973, in Fort Carson, Colorado. He graduated from New England High School, North Dakota in 1991. Dallas enlisted in the United States Army his senior year and spent 24 years of his life serving as an instructor, truck driver and airborne paratrooper. He served honorably at home and abroad in Kuwait, Kosovo, South Korea, Germany, and Iraq. His travels led him from the glaciers of Alaska to castles in Germany and finally to the mountains of Wyoming.

Dallas retired to Wyoming with his beloved family in 2017 and loved exploring the outside while spending time with his family. Dallas enjoyed life everyday whether it be hiking with their two dogs, watching movies or simply being there for all who loved and needed him. There was never a task or problem too large nor intimidating for Dallas. He left a legacy of determination and faithfulness to all who loved and knew him. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him and were touched across the world by his legacy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Barry and Norma Peterson of New England, North Dakota.
