Karmyn Marsette
April 1, 1961 – January 16, 2022
Carmen Marsette, of White Shield, died on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at her home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2022, at 11:00 am the White Shield Community Complex (The Old Ralph Wells Complex) in White Shield. Wake services will be held on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the Community Center beginning at 5:00 pm.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, from 2 to 4 pm with a procession leaving for White Shield at 4 pm.
Karmyn Dileen Marsette was born in Garrison, ND to Matthew Marsette Sr. And Gloria (Shell) Marsette on April 1, 1961. Karmyn 61, passed away January 16, 2022 at the Garrison Memorial Hospital. Karmyn is the 5th oldest of her 4 Brothers and 3 sisters. She went to White Shield School from K-12. She attended college in Bismarck, ND and SIPI in New Mexico.
Karmyn lived with her sister Marianne in Tempe, AZ to help with her niece and nephew. A few years later she moved back home to White Shield because she missed her parents so much. She was a Daddy’s girl and according to her little brother Scott she was a Viking Fanatic and border line lunatic. (Vikings!) A little later she became a devoted foster mother to her 4 sons, Raunlyn (Scooter) Marsette, Layne Lewis, Kingston Marsette, and Cedric Marsette.
Karmyn loved to be around family with music blaring, everyone cleaning, teasing each other, and cooking some good old time food her mom use to make. She loved doing puzzles and sitting in her chair popping bubble wrap, watching Yellowstone, and 90 Day Fiance. Karmyn also enjoyed digging at rummage sales and having cook outs. She loved going to revival with her sister/friend, Kathy Poitra. She loved Mellow Yellow and Mountain Dew.
She loved to do anything and everything with her grandbabies. Karmyn was always there for anyone and everyone who came to her for help, comfort and love. It was her mission to help everyone and give them unconditional love. Karmyn leaves behind family who will miss her dearly.
Karmyn is survived by her children Raunlyn (Scooter) Marsette, Layne Lewis (Destiny Williams), Kingston Marsette and Cedric Marsette, her brothers Scott Marsette and Jay Marsette, Her Nephews Chubbs (Leann) Marsette and Mateo Ruiz, Her Neices, Daunelle Marsette, Carrots Marsette, Autumn Ruiz and Ashly Everett, her friend she grew up with Annie Meyers, And many of her grandchildren, neices, and nephews.
Karmyn is preceded in death by her parents Matthew Marsette Sr and Gloria Marsette, her brothers Gus & Manny Marsette, her sisters Lindy, Marianne and Kaylyn.
