Bonnie Rupp, 80, passed away peacefully on her beloved farm on December 14th surrounded by her loving husband, Bob, daughter, Robin and sister-in-law, Mary. Service will be held at the Garrison First Congregational church on December 22nd around 11:00am.

Bonnie was born with a love of horses on October 25, 1941, to Neil and Lois (Robinson) Burns. As a child she was a snowbird living between North Dakota and Arizona. In college, she attended to floral design and accounting classes. She married and had Robin and Dawn. Then married her true love Bob and had Neil. Bonnie was immensely proud of her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

She was most notably known for her great capacity to love and accept everyone, no matter what season of life one was going through. Her giving heart and helping hands have been witnessed by 100s of people.

She accomplished her dream of owning Arabian horses and was a well accomplished rider at a very young age. She showed many horses and rode in many parades. She created her own authentic Arabian costumes. She was a member of the Arabian Horse Association for more than 50 years and her farm became an Arabian Horse Association discovery farm. She was a brilliant businesswoman selling horses through phone conversations. Bonnie and Bob successfully ran her business for over 50 years, raising 100s of horses and selling them to all 50 states, Canada and Mexico. They specialized in black Arabians and some of her horses were movie related.

Bonnie was the first female member of the FFA in Arizona. She was a member of the First Congregational Church in Garrison and TCN Circle. She loved gardening, Pizza Hut and a good hamburger.

Bonnie is survived by her husband, Bob, children, Robin (Craig), Dawn (David) and Neil, grandchildren, Kristin (Jacob), Amy (Kevin), Brittany, Josiah (McKenzie), Judah (May), Alia (Alec), Elisha, Aurora, Carsen, Weston, Jackson, and great grandchildren, Lillian, Hendrix, Arylean, Amelia, Selah, Kaidyn, Ezra, and Moses.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Neil and Lois, brother Matthew, granddaughter Jennifer, aunts, Ann, Bez, and Ruth, and Cousin William David.

Memorials can be made in her name to GARC food pantry and First Congregational Church in Garrison.
