The most wonderful woman and person we know Faye Tschosik began her new journey on November 5, 2021 from Earth to Heaven.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at Pro-Cathedral of St. Mary, Bismarck. For those not attending, the service will be streamed live on the Bismarck Funeral Home Facebook page. Visitation will be on Monday, from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Bismarck Funeral Home with a Rosary service at 7:00pm.

Faye was born June 22, 1956, to Ted and Mary (Fischer) Jahner. She was raised in Bismarck and graduated from Bismarck High School in 1974.

On July 20, 1974 she married the love of her life and best friend, Terry Tschosik. They were blessed with a daughter Tara and son Adam. But most precious to Faye was her four grandchildren, Aubrey Malnourie, Tenial Tschosik, Aiden Tschosik, and Isaac Tschosik.

At the early age of 18 Faye became employed as a Procurement Officer with the State of North Dakota’s Department of Aging and Human Services, she retired after 44 years. Faye’s dedication and caring nature towards the aging population is something that she will always be remembered for.

Above everything in life Faye enjoyed spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, daughter in law, son in law, and family and friends. She hosted many holidays and gatherings and she always made sure everyone was fed. She enjoyed cooking family recipes she grew up with and left many of her own to be treasured. Her gift of listening to her children, grandchildren, and family talk about their everyday events was something that brought her joy and she was always guiding, helping, and encouraging them through life’s daily journey. Faye found great peace and beauty in nature.  She spent many hours at home sitting and watching the Missouri River and taking in the beauty of the wildlife and surrounding trees. Photography was one of Faye’s hobbies and she captured many priceless moments that will forever be enjoyed by family and friends. She had tremendous love for all animals and her fur babies at home were considered to be her four legged children.  Faye was also a proud member of the NRA and Committee Member of the National Republican Party.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; her son and daughter-in-law, Adam and Dora Tschosik; her daughter and son-in-law, Tara and Nick Even; her grandchildren, Tenial, Aiden, Isaac Tschosik and Aubrey Malnourie; her brother, Dennis (Penny) Jahner; her sisters, Gloria Kaiser, Diane Fischer, Elaine Kelly, Cathy (Bob) Martin; and Cindy (Jerry Marquart) Bosworth; and numerous nieces and nephews through many generations.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Ted and Mary Jahner; her parents-in-law, Barbara and Adam Tschosik; her sisters, Shirley Bachmeier; Rosemary Wetch; Janice Klein; Cherie Rudnick; and her brother Ted Jahner; along with several sister and brother in laws.

Although we know Faye is an Angel in Heaven now and will always be right with us, we along with so many others will miss her. She will always be loved and remembered for who she is and the love she shared.
