They enjoyed traveling to most states as well as Europe and Mexico. They also traveled to Germany and Russia in search of their roots.

Anita’s greatest passion was genealogy and she authored two books assisted by her brother, Don. They were “Heidt Ancestry” and “Wagner Family” for which her family will be forever indebted. She was recognized for this accomplishment by GRHS at their convention. In addition, she had assembled multiple three-ring binders about people and their history as well as photographs. Her focus was the people and their stories.
